Who are you?

My name is Alex, the blog is called steven lebron because the day I decided to sign up for a website name, an article titled “Cleveland’s Lebron tests positive for horse steroids” came out. It turned out to be about a Cleveland Indians minor leaguer named Steven Lebron, not the other more famous basketball guy. It was the best thing I read about sports that day, and thus it became the name of my site. So, it’s pretty irrelevant.

The blog is featured on Tumblr’s spotlight directory, so people who sign up on Tumblr and never use it again usually follow me and I never hear from them again. The content is mostly sports, but occasionally about other things as well.

Where else do you write?

In no particular order, I occasionally contribute to The Tickr and NFL Off-Season, two great Tumblr sports properties. I’ve also done some writing at SB Nation’s Raptors HQ and The Sports Fan Journal.

As for some of my long form writing, you can browse my archive at The Classical and The Barnstormer. I’m also writing a series called “In Another Life” at ESPN’s Hardwood Paroxysm.

I’m also a contributor to the sports section at Canada.com, the content will be mostly Blue Jays-related, which you can follow here.

Yeah. I started a podcast called “steven lebron radio” (branding, you know) in November 2012 which is available for subscription in iTunes here. Alternatively, you can browse through all the episodes with show notes here.
